Summary

    • Series of advanced asanas.
    • Systematic,in-depth study of several asanas from Levels1and 2
    • Detailed examination of major groups/sequencing of asanas in order to develop teaching skills.
    • Yoga psychology and anatomy- circulatory, digestive, nervous and endocrine systems.
    • Yoga Sutras:
    Yamas and Niyamas.
    • Shat Karma:Trataka and Jal Neti.

In this course the participants revisit several of the practices covered in the previous levels while at the same time being introduced to a series of advanced asanas. The course emphasizes the systematic and in depth study of asanas. Emphasis is on integrating various aspects of the practices including the experiential process. It examines in details major groups of Standing, Forward / Backward Bending and Inverted Asanas with the purpose of learning how to group and sequence postures for developing teaching skills.

Additionally, the psychological and anatomical perspectives of Yoga are introduced through detailed examination of practices of Sun Salutation, Kaya Sthiryam,Yoga Nidra, Prana Vidya among others. Other areas such as the circulatory, digestive, nervous and endocrine systems are also introduced.
