Interfaith Marriages:
Challenges and Reconciliation
Recent Webinar: Saturday, August 9, 2025, 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 9:30 pm IST

About the Webinar:
As the world becomes increasingly interconnected and the next generation of Hindus in America settle down, interfaith and inter-cultural marriages are more common than ever, yet remain deeply complex and often misunderstood. Join us for this thought-provoking webinar where we explore the nuanced realities faced by couples, families, and faith communities navigating love across religious boundaries.
Dr. Dilip Amin’s presentation will focus on marriages between individuals from Dharmic (Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh) and Abrahamic (Jewish, Christian, Muslim) traditions, as well as intra-faith and interracial unions. We will cover dating to navigate the end-of-life rituals, more specifically difficulties in raising children in two faiths.
The webinar will also feature guest speakers from interfaith families who will share their lived experiences, struggles, and successes. Whether you’re in an interfaith relationship, advising one, or simply curious about how interfaith dynamics shape modern society, this session will offer rich insights and practical guidance.
Join us to engage in meaningful discussion, explore scriptural teachings, and examine how we can move from conflict to coexistence in our personal lives and communities.
