Dr. Aditya Togi is an Assistant Professor at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. He is passionate about teaching Physics and Astronomy. He is involved in numerous research projects using NASA’s advanced telescope facilities, including the James Webb Space Telescope, to study star formation and galaxy evolution.
Dr. Togi holds a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Mumbai and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He developed a strong interest in astronomy early in his teenage years and began learning independently to interpret and analyze planetary motions. He is interested in interpreting the Vedanga Jyotisha concepts through the lens of modern science. He collaborates and discusses concepts on nakshatras, decodes Jyotisha texts, and Vedanga Jyotisha using astronomical techniques on social media platforms with his team members. 
Dr. Togi has published numerous research papers in leading international astronomy journals and has given lectures on his research topics. He actively engages in scientific conferences, workshops, and student camps that advance Physics and Astronomy education. Besides his academic work, Dr. Togi serves as a referee for several international astronomy journals and is a lifelong member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Pi Sigma societies, which emphasize learning and education.
