Director of Student Experience
As Director of Student Experience at Hindu university of America, Sumedha is committed to creating a positive, holistic, and supportive journey for students—from their first engagement with the university through to graduation. She oversees key aspects of the student lifecycle, including onboarding, learning, evaluation, and retention, while ensuring that academic and administrative operations are effectively integrated to enhance student satisfaction and success. Her role also involves close collaboration with faculty, integrating academic planning with operational efficiency.
Her work spans the development and optimization of systems that support student success, including the university website built on WordPress and Elementor platforms, Moodle based learning management system, and internal administrative tools. She also supports accreditation readiness by aligning university processes with standards, while contributing to the ongoing development of institutional infrastructure, and enhancing the usability and accuracy of digital and academic resources to enable student engagement. Her focus is on building sustainable operational capacity, maintaining consistent academic information and optimizing the university’s administrative planning and execution each quarter that supports continued growth and a high-quality educational experience for all students.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Homoeopathy (B.H.M.S) from Pune University and certification as an Ashtanga Yoga teacher, she brings over a decade of experience in wellness, education, and community engagement. She actively volunteers with local Dharmic Hindu organizations, contributing as a teacher, coordinator, and counselor. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to cultural and Dharmic values, student well-being, and the transformative power of education.In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, and spending quality time with her husband, two sons, and their dog. She has performed in various musical programs and enjoys participating in Marathi elocution competitions, blending her love for language, performance, and cultural expression.
