Hindu Dharmic Parenting Workshop
Hindu Dharmik Parenting Workshop
(A Wisdom-Based Approach for Modern Families)
Parenting in today’s world can be both rewarding and overwhelming. This workshop offers a refreshing and profound approach to parenting, rooted in the timeless wisdom of Sanātana Dharma. Drawing inspiration from the Upaniṣads, the Bhagavad Gītā, and Yoga, the session will explore how Hindu philosophy can guide us in nurturing children who are not only successful by conventional standards but also spiritually grounded, ethically strong, and emotionally resilient.
Led by Dr. Kalika Uttarkar, faculty at Hindu University of America, the workshop emphasizes parenting as a shared journey of growth for both parent and child. Participants will gain valuable insights and tools to foster a nurturing family environment, develop moral clarity, and build a strong cultural and spiritual identity for their children—especially in a multicultural and often secular environment.
