Acharya Dr. Dhananjaya Rao Dharur is a distinguished scholar of Nyāya and Vedānta, serving as Graduate Faculty in Sanskrit Studies at Hindu University of America and the Associate Director at MIT IIKS, Pune. He holds a Ph.D. from Rāṣṭrīya Saṃskṛta Vidyāpīṭham, Tirupati, with specialized doctoral research on:
श्रीजयर्थविरचितायां श्रीमन्न्यायसुधयां न्यायमतविमर्शः (A critical and analytical study of Nyāya philosophical inquiry as expounded in Śrīmannyāyasudhā by Śrījayartha.)
With over twenty years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Rao has made significant scholarly contributions to classical Indian philosophy, śāstric pedagogy, and advanced Sanskrit studies. He previously served as Director at Veda Vedānta Adhyayana Śodha Saṃsthānam, New Delhi, and Pūrṇa Pramati, Bengaluru, where he played a pivotal role in curriculum development, academic leadership, and traditional śāstric training.
Dr. Dharur’s scholarly excellence has been recognized through numerous prestigious national honors, including:
