Dr. Kalika Uttarkar is a distinguished scholar who holds both MA and Ph.D. degrees in Philosophy from the University of Pune. Additionally, she has earned a Master’s in ‘Psychotherapy and Counseling.’ With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Kalika has made significant contributions to the fields of philosophy, yoga, and mental health counseling.
Currently based in Dallas, Dr. Kalika wears multiple hats as a Yoga and psychological counselor, motivational speaker, and the creator of a YouTube channel dedicated to parenting, relationships, and self-help. She has conducted life skills corporate training, workshops on yoga, and mental health sessions.
Dr. Kalika’s academic pursuits include presenting papers on Yoga, Bhagavad-Gita, and Upanishads at various national and international seminars. Her passion project, her doctoral thesis, focused on “The Philosophy of Life with Reference to the Major 11 Upanishads.” She actively explores the intersection of Indian Philosophy, Yoga, and Psychology to discern its relevance in contemporary human life. Dr. Kalika’s expertise also extends to Naturopathy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
