Dr. Manjunath Bhat holds a Ph.D. from Rashtriya Samskrita Vidyapeetham, Tirupati, with doctoral research titled Mīmāṁsakamatanusāreṇa Arthāpatti-Anupalabdhi-Pramāṇa- Vimarśaḥ, a critical study of epistemological categories within the Mīmāṁsā tradition. A specialist in Śāstra and classical Indian philosophy, he brings extensive academic and institutional experience in Sanskrit higher education.
He serves as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Śāstra at Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bengaluru, and is currently the In-charge Principal of Shri. Medhādakṣiṇāmūrti Vedabhavana Sanskrit College, Gokarna, contributing to academic administration and traditional scholarship. Earlier, he worked as a Junior Researcher at École Française d’Extrême-Orient, Pondicherry (2011–2013), engaging in advanced research in Sanskrit and Indian intellectual traditions.
An accomplished scholar, Dr. Bhat has been awarded four Gold Medals and two Silver Medals in recognition of his academic excellence. His work reflects deep engagement with Mīmāṁsā, pramāṇa theory, and classical śāstric inquiry.
