Faculty – Community Education Division (Ayurveda & Integrative Health)
Dr. Ranjana Chawla serves as faculty in HUA’s Community Education Division, specializing in Ayurveda for Immune Health, Allergies, and Autoimmunity. She holds a Doctorate in Ayurvedic Medicine from the California College of Ayurveda and a Master's degree in History from Delhi University, India. She is a certified Yoga teacher specializing in traditional, gentle healing Yoga, a certified Yoga Nidra teacher through the California College of Ayurveda, and a certified meditation teacher. A practicing Ayurvedic practitioner since 2014, she currently offers clinical Ayurvedic consultations, personalized treatment programs, and preventive wellness care to patients across the U.S. from her practice in Great Falls, Virginia.
Dr. Chawla has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the field, having served as an invited speaker for the Embassy of India’s Ayurveda Day celebration and as Commencement Speaker at the California College of Ayurveda. She has also served on the Board of Pratham, contributing her leadership to community and educational initiatives. Her academic experience in Ayurveda includes having served as faculty and clinical supervisor at the California College of Ayurveda, where she mentored the next generation of Ayurvedic practitioners.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Chawla specializes in complex and chronic conditions, including metabolic disorders, delivering precise, root-cause-driven care grounded in classical Ayurvedic principles. She believes Ayurveda is not just a treatment but a way of life, and her approach centers on educating patients so they become empowered owners of their own health journey.
