Faculty – Community Education Division (Leadership Studies)
Shri. Pranav Patel serves as faculty at Hindu University of America’s Community Education Division, bringing over fifteen years of experience in leadership education, governance, and strategic management inspired by Kautilya’s Arthaśāstra. He is currently the Program Director at the School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL), where he integrates ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary leadership frameworks for government, academic, and corporate audiences.
A recognized authority on Arthaśāstra, Shri Patel has designed and delivered leadership development programs for institutions such as IIT Kharagpur, the College of Defence Management (Secunderabad), and the MIT School of Government (Pune). His initiatives span strategic leadership, ethics, team building, and public administration, reaching over 1,500 participants and numerous organizations.
He holds a Master’s in Leadership Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Kauṭilya Arthaśāstra from the University of Mumbai, and has been a Research Fellow with the Indian Council for Philosophical Research (ICPR) and the Consulate General of India in New York. Earlier in his career, he served in senior roles at HSBC, Standard Chartered, and ING Vysya Bank, and brings a unique blend of analytical, organizational, and philosophical insight to his teaching.
Guided by the principle “Yogakṣemam bahujanahita artham,” Shri Patel continues to explore how ancient Indian models of governance can nurture ethical and effective leadership for the modern world.
