Faculty – Community Education Division (Yoga Studies)
Shri. Raghu Anantha Narayanan serves as faculty of Yoga Studies in HUA’s CE division. He holds a Postgraduate Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from IIT Chennai and is a senior Yoga teacher in the classical lineage of Shri. Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, having trained directly under both Krishnamacharya and Shri. T.K.V. Desikachar.
With decades of experience as a Yoga expert, teacher, and coach, Shri. Raghu integrates the Krishnamacharya tradition with contemporary methods of experiential learning and introspection. He is the co-founder of Sumedhas Academy for Human Context, The Barefoot Academy for Governance, and FLAME TAO Knoware, and serves on the boards of several organizations.
Deeply involved in nurturing transformative leadership, he mentors the sacred activist collective Ritambhara and co-creates Ananta Yoga, a platform for teachers in the Krishnamacharya tradition. He is also associated with YogaVahini, a leading center for Yoga therapy and teacher training.
Together with his wife, Sashi, he has explored the interconnected disciplines of Yoga and Vaastu. His original frameworks—Totally Aligned Organization and the Tensegrity Mandala—blend Yogic wisdom with organizational development.
