Shri. Philip Goldberg serves as a faculty member in HUA’s Community Education Division. An ordained Interfaith Minister with over 50 years of experience studying the world’s spiritual traditions, he brings deep insight into the evolution and practice of global spirituality. As a spiritual counselor, meditation teacher, and acclaimed author, he has dedicated his career to interpreting and communicating the wisdom of diverse traditions—particularly the influence of Indian spirituality on the modern West.
Goldberg is the author of numerous books, including American Veda, The Life of Yogananda, and Karmic Relief. He is widely recognized for his ability to make spiritual teachings accessible and relevant. An engaging public speaker, he has presented at universities, spiritual institutions, yoga centers, and festivals across the United States and India.
In addition to his teaching and writing, he contributes regularly to Spirituality & Health, Khabar, and other publications, and posts frequently on his “Practical Spirituality” Substack. He hosts the Spirit Matters podcast, leads American Veda Tours to India, and serves on the board of the Association for Spiritual Integrity. Through his multifaceted work, Philip Goldberg continues to build bridges across spiritual traditions, offering thoughtful commentary rooted in decades of scholarship and practice.
