Coordinator – Content, Website, Social Media
Smt. Jyoti Suravarjula serves as the Content Coordinator at Hindu University of America, ensuring that the university’s voice reflects both precision and authenticity. She curates, refines, and manages communications across multiple platforms—including the website, newsletters, university publications, blogs, and social media—with a focus on clarity, cultural resonance, and faithful representation of Sanskrit terminology. Working closely with faculty, the website design team, and the marketing team, she refines content to present HUA’s academic offerings, events, and initiatives in ways that engage both scholarly and general audiences, while ensuring a consistency of voice.
Her expertise lies in aligning content with HUA’s academic vision and Dharmic ethos, integrating cultural authenticity with aesthetic excellence. Her work spans the website, brochures, handbooks, standees, fliers, advertisements, and social media. With over 15 years of experience on digital platforms—beginning with blogging in 2005 and early adoption of social media—she brings a nuanced grasp of digital trends and the dynamics of online communication.
Jyoti began her journey at HUA as a graduate student in the MA–PhD in Hindu Studies program, motivated by her passion for preserving and sharing the legacy of Hindu Gurus and Āchāryas. She is also pursuing the Certificate in Sanskrit Proficiency for Vedic Studies (SPVS). A resident of California, she balances her professional and academic pursuits with creative interests in landscape photography, poetry, and gardening. Rooted in tradition yet expressive through modern mediums, Jyoti brings both rigor and artistry to her role, advancing HUA’s mission with dedication and care.
