About the Retreat

We at Hindu University of America deeply appreciate your support, and are asking you to deeply engage with our mission and vision through the Friends of HUA.

If you have taken a course, if you understand the need of Hindu Studies, especially in America, if you want to build an academic institution rooted in Hindu dharma that grows from reason, science, and logic, you should join the Friends of HUA.

We have nearly a dozen chapters across the countries, at all levels of development. Wherever you are on your journey, HUA has a path for you to connect with like minded individuals and celebrate Hinduism through learning and doing.

If you believe in what we are building at HUA, we invite you to join us at the 2nd Annual FoHUA Leadership Retreat, taking place at HUA’s Pine Lake Campus (near Orlando), from October 23–25, 2026. This will be a transformative weekend of training, vision-building, and leadership development. Couples welcome. We actually would like to have at least two people from each geographic region to attend, because our aim is to build local teams that can create the best ways to share HUA to their community.

We have weekly meetings where Friends from across the world join on Thursdays at 6pm PT / 8pm CT / 9pm ET. These meetings have inspired numerous initiatives, events, and innumerable learning moments: LINK TO JOIN
