Learning Objectives
Get an overview of Indonesian history with emphasis on Hinduism.
Learn about Balinese Hinduism, similarities and differences vis-a-vis Bharateeya Hinduism.
Experience a short-and-sweet immersion into Balinese Hinduism: sacred sites, ceremonies, performances, interaction with Bali Hindus.
Appreciate the influence and effect of Hinduism on a land and people far removed from Bharat in time and geographical distance.
What's in it
Online lectures and orientation sessions via HUA LMS and Zoom before and after the tour.
Visits to sites of natural beauty and Hindu heritage in Bali.
Lectures and tour guidance provided by staff of Hindu University in Bali (no direct relation to HUA).
Receive HUA's community education program credits and a certificate from Hindu University in Bali.
Age Requirement: Children 8 years and older are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian. The fee is the same as adults.

Visit most popular and grand Hindu temples in Bali such as Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati, Goa Gajah, Pura Tirta Empul, Taman Ayun Temple (Mengwi), Tanah Lot, Besakih, Penataran Agung Lempuyang.
Experience popular & beautiful attractions like Sacred Monkey Forest, paddy field walks, waterfalls, beaches.
Participate in Balinese Hindu puja ceremonies with traditional attire and offerings.
Visit a traditional Bali music school and experience the Kecak dance performance.
Visit Sanskrit gurukulam and Hindu University of Bali campus.
Interact with local Hindus and enjoy the local cuisine, including the world famous Bali coffee and Luwak Coffee.
