About the Webinar:
Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA) and Hindu University of America (HUA) invite you to a joint webinar showcasing their shared mission to serve and strengthen the Hindu community in the United States. The idea of HUA was formulated by VHPA in 1985, and over the years, HUA has emerged as a leading dharmic institution that preserves, advances, and teaches the knowledge systems of Sanātana Dharma through academic study and research.
Today, HUA offers graduate and certificate programs that connect Hindu philosophy with contemporary life, helping the diaspora engage with its heritage intellectually and spiritually.
For over five decades, VHPA has advanced the same vision through Bal Vihars, youth camps, the Sharda Scholarship, StopHinduDvesha, Hindu Heritage Month, and the Hindu Mandir Empowerment Council. It also serves as an incubator for emerging Hindu leaders and organizations.
This webinar, with Dr. Jai Bansal (VHPA) and Dr. Abhinav Dwivedi (HUA) explores how the respective organizations complement each other in strengthening Hindu identity, education, and community engagement across generations.

Shri. Kalyan Viswanathan
Shri. Kalyan Viswanathan serves as the President of HUA. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University. He was associated with Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati of the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam for 21 years.
Dr. Jai Bansal
Dr. Jai Bansal is a retired scientist with expertise in energy efficiency technologies. He retired in 2014 as the Chief Scientific Officer and Global Technology Advisor from Infineum USA, after a 38-year career in the petrochemical industry. Following his retirement, he was associated with Argonne National Lab as a Distinguished Fellow, where he advised the Argonne scientists as well as the US Dept. of Energy on energy efficiency initiatives. Dr. Bansal holds over two dozen patents, and has presented extensively at international technical conferences. Jai is a long-term member of the World Hindu Council of America and is currently serving as a member of its Governing Council.
Shri. Abhinav Dwivedi
Shri. Abhinav Dwivedi is one of the visionary founders of HUA, established in 1989 in Orlando, Florida. With a background in high technology and over three decades of leadership experience, he has been instrumental in shaping HUA’s mission to preserve and promote Sanātana Dharma through academic study and modern scholarship. A dedicated community leader, Dr. Dwivedi continues to inspire HUA’s growth as a world-class institution rooted in Hindu thought and values.
