From Alphabet to Insight:
Your Sanskrit Learning Roadmap
Recent Webinar: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 10:30 pm IST
About the Webinar:
Join our Coordinator for Sanskrit Studies – Smt. Parvathi Sriram and her co-panelists for an insightful introduction to HUA’s Certificate in Sanskrit Proficiency for Vedic Studies Program — a thoughtfully designed, multi-level program that guides absolute beginners all the way to confidently reading, understanding, and interpreting Sanskrit texts.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Devanāgarī script but eager to learn, HUA’s two-part foundational course — Introducing the Sounds and Script of Sanskrit — provides a clear, supportive pathway to mastering the reading, writing, and pronunciation of Sanskrit letters.
Whether you are just beginning or already have some exposure to Saṃskṛtam, this webinar will demonstrate how HUA’s structured progression—from Beginner to Intermediate, Advanced, and finally Proficiency—meets learners at their level and enables steady, systematic growth.
Discover how these programs help students read and write in Devanāgarī, build strong vocabulary and grammar foundations, communicate in spoken and written Sanskrit, and interpret Sanskrit texts while articulating their meaning in English. The session will introduce the faculty, walk through the curriculum, and show how this learning pathway opens direct access to the vast textual heritage of the Hindu tradition—free from reliance on translations or intermediaries.
