Shri. Jayant Kapatker is a lifelong student of Vedanta whose primary passion is the study, assimilation, and sharing of the timeless teachings of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. For over fifteen years, he studied Vedanta at the Arsha Bodha Center in New Jersey under the traditional teaching methodology. This transformative journey made Vedanta the central focus of his life and inspired him to share its wisdom with others. In 2014, Jayant began writing essays and blogs to present Vedantic teachings in a way that resonates with scientifically minded readers. These writings eventually culminated in his book, Science Meets Vedanta, published in 2022. Building on the book’s positive reception, he launched a series of audio podcasts in 2025, making these ideas accessible to a wider audience.
Before dedicating himself fully to Vedanta, Jayant graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and earned an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. He had an international career spanning India, Nepal, Spain, Australia, and the United States, and as an entrepreneur, his online training courses in Security Technology received the prestigious Judges’ Choice Award at the International Security Conference in Las Vegas.
Jayant and his wife, Maya, now reside in Pune, India, where he continues his study, writing, and teaching, with the aspiration of making the wisdom of Vedanta approachable and relevant to contemporary seekers.
