Jijith Nadumuri Ravi (Former Scientist ISRO), is an Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduate with MBA in Information Technology. He has 25 years of experience researching in the subject of geography and chronology of Ṛgveda, Ramayana and Mahabharata. He has published a dozen of research articles about Mahabharata Geography, which includes ISRO’s IRS imagery of Sarasvati River. He has published three books – Rivers or Ṛgveda, Geography of Ramayana and Geography of Mahabharata (in two volumes) which is a geo-chronology trilogy focused on the geography and chronology of Bhāratavarṣa from the Ṛgvedic Period onwards. Through these books he has resolved the chronological puzzles from Manu to Maurya. The Bhāratavarṣa Maps created by Jijith is used in Wikipedia and hundreds of websites focused on Dhārmic content. Jijith has established platforms like AncientVoice and Dharma Digital. AncientVoice is a Wikipedia like website with 25,000 plus pages on Veda, Itihāsa, Purāṇas. Dharma Digital is a platform where 3D digital holograms of 100 plus Devatas are established. These Devatas can appear in real world using Spatial technologies and converse using Generative AI.
Jijith has worked in ISRO’s former missions like Chandrayan 1 in the study phase. He got appreciation from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam for his work on the lunar orbit analysis. Jijith has participated in multiple GSLV launches. He has developed software for the Liquid Nitrogen Console of the Cryogenic stage of GSLV, and was part of the 48-hour launch count down for the LN2 console. Jijith frequently appears in TV news channels like Times Now and Mirror Now to participate in discussions around the missions of NASA and ISRO along with other panelists from both the space agencies. He has taught the geochronology of Ṛgveda and Ramayana in Amrita University. He is invited to deliver lectures in the NITs of Rourkela, Trichy & Andhra Pradesh. He is invited as a plenary speaker in Indus University, Kurukshetra University, Gujarat University and Gujarat Central University.
