About Holistic Yoga Retreat
The Holistic Yoga Retreat is a transformative 4-day journey designed to recharge, revitalize and rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit through holistic yoga. Nestled in the serene surroundings of Pine Lake Retreat near Orlando, FL, this immersive experience will guide participants on a path towards exuberant health, wellness and self-discovery. A key component of this retreat is the integration of the spiritual dimensions of yoga in the tradition of Vinyasa Krama, as taught by the legendary Yogi Sri T. Krishnamacharya and his student Yogacharya Srivatsa Ramaswami.

This retreat aims to create a nurturing space for self-discovery and holistic well-being through yoga. By means of a carefully curated program, participants will embark on a journey that combines ancient wisdom with practical applications for a balanced and harmonious life.

Online lectures and orientation sessions via HUA LMS and Zoom before and after the tour.
Visits to sites of natural beauty and Hindu heritage in Bali.
Lectures and tour guidance provided by staff of Hindu University in Bali (no direct relation to HUA).
Receive HUA's community education program credits and a certificate from Hindu University in Bali.
Age Requirement: Children 8 years and older are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian. The fee is the same as adults.
Scheduled Plan for the Study Tour
Arrive in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia on Sep 6, 2026 or earlier. Study tour starts with dinner that day.
Depart from Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia on Sep 13, 2026 or later. Study tour concludes with lunch that day.
Visit most popular and grand Hindu temples in Bali such as Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati, Goa Gajah, Pura Tirta Empul, Taman Ayun Temple (Mengwi), Tanah Lot, Besakih, Penataran Agung Lempuyang.
Experience popular & beautiful attractions like Sacred Monkey Forest, paddy field walks, waterfalls, beaches.

Meet Our Expert
Dr. Shriram Sarvotham
Dr. Shriram Sarvotham is a faculty member in the Department of Yoga Studies at Hindu University of America and an experienced yoga teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience. A Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, he combines his expertise in engineering with a lifelong dedication to classical yoga. An E-RYT-500 certified instructor, he teaches from foundational texts such as the Patañjali Yoga Sūtras, Bhagavad Gītā, and Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, and has led more than 300 yoga workshops and retreats across the United States.
