Course Content

In the fourth quarter, students will have the opportunity to practice and recite verses set in various meters. They will enhance their understanding of complex conversations that are provided to them. Additionally, they will learn the correct application of verbs, tenses, and moods to form proper sentences effectively. By this stage, they will be able to engage in daily conversations in Saṃskṛtam with relative ease. Throughout the quarter, they will continue to act out different scenarios with their team members, based on a customized set of conversations allocated at the beginning of the term. Moreover, students will collaborate with their cohorts to create a skit with grammatically correct transcripts and perform that skit at the end of the quarter.

Class Structure

Students will have a dedicated 1.5 hours of valuable contact time with the faculty once a week. The class has been meticulously structured to foster effective learning in an engaging online face-to-face format. Furthermore, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to build upon the knowledge acquired in previous classes. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers outside of class, working together to successfully complete group assignments and engaging activities.
