In this course, students will be able to:
Through a blend of Ayurvedic wisdom and evidence-based science, you will build a customized plan that addresses common skin concerns—acne, dryness, pigmentation, and signs of aging—holistically. Learn to use herbs, nutrition, and daily rituals to reduce inflammation, enhance natural glow, and restore balance. The course culminates in a structured 30-day Radiance Blueprint, designed to guide you step-by-step toward sustainable results, nourishing your body from within while supporting long-term skin vitality and overall well-being.
We begin by exploring the foundations of Ayurveda and Biology, bridging ancient knowledge with modern scientific understanding. Participants will learn how Doshas influence the skin axis, guiding individual patterns and needs, and delve into Dhatus and Srotas, the body tissues and channels that determine skin health from within. Core concepts such as Agni (digestive fire) and Ama (toxins) are discussed alongside the microbiome, helping learners understand how internal balance impacts outer glow.
The course further examines Ojas and immunity, highlighting the link between vitality and skin resilience, and the skin barrier, its structure, function, and vulnerabilities. Sessions on Skin in Ayurveda & Biology and the Mind-Skin Axis uncover how emotions, stress, and hormones influence complexion, while Diet and Lifestyle modules provide practical strategies to support skin health holistically. Advanced topics include Rejuvenation and Rasayana, teaching time-tested approaches to restore balance and radiance. Finally, the course emphasizes Integration, guiding participants to combine Ayurvedic principles with modern science, culminating in the creation of a personalized Radiance Blueprint to sustain long-term skin vitality and wellness.
There will be a minimum of 1.5 contact hours with one or more faculty every week for 11 weeks.
The class is structured in a way that promotes interactive teaching, reference readings, discussion and debate. Interesting practical assignments to give hands on experience of Ayurveda . Each class will be comprised of 1 hour teaching and 30minutes for interaction on the topic. During the course, students will complete time to time assignments.
