About the Free Webinar:
Join Hindu University of America for Part 2 of our special WAVES 2026 webinar series as we explore one of the conference’s most dynamic and rapidly growing areas: Ayurveda and Integrative Health. This year’s World Association for Vedic Studies (WAVES) Conference, themed “Living Wisdom: Reintegrating Ayurveda and Vedic Sciences in the Modern World,” highlighted the increasing role of Ayurveda in advancing preventive healthcare, scientific research, education, and holistic well-being across the globe.
As a collaborating organization for WAVES 2026, Hindu University of America continues its commitment to advancing authentic Ayurvedic education and scholarship through the California College of Ayurveda (CCA), now a part of HUA. This webinar will examine the major themes, research, and conversations emerging from the conference and what they reveal about the future of Ayurveda in academia, healthcare, and everyday life.
Featuring an exceptional panel of Ayurveda leaders, Dr. Mahadevan Seetharaman, Dean of the California College of Ayurveda and Ayurveda & Integrative Health Faculty at HUA; Vaidya Dr. Vandana Baranwal, Convener of WAVES 2026 and an internationally recognized Ayurveda physician, educator, and researcher; and Dr. Rammohan (Ram) Rao, Faculty in HUA’s Community Education Division and the California College of Ayurveda, neuroscientist, and Chief Scientist at ApolloHealth, this discussion will offer firsthand insights into the conference’s most impactful presentations, the latest developments in Ayurvedic research, and the opportunities for integrating traditional wisdom with modern science.
